Fresno

Old news at this point but I still feel the need to finish documenting this trip...

Kirk and I made our way to Fresno to visit Garland, Kirks cousin that he had not seen in 30 years. Garland has been in Fresno a long time and was very involved in the motorcycle scene in his younger days. He ran with an interesting crowd and has the pictures and stories to prove it.

Broke Down

If your gonna brake down, Newport Beach is a nice choice.

Saturday night after Born-Free I found this. I have re-welded this springer before. Old extended springers should not be trusted...old chopper shit should not be trusted. This one will be coming apart in the near future.

 

Sunday morning Kirk found this. Again, old chopper shit is not to be trusted. I should have reinforced this neck casting when we stretched the frame. 

All that, led to this. We could have found a welder and spent a day stitching these pigs back together, but we opted for the easy route. This IS a fucking vacation!

 

 

 

 

America

America is a beautiful place. The trip home from Born-Free was much different than the trip to Born-Free.
